Quite honestly the best answer I could probably give you is convenience. One of our engineers was working on a project a little over 10 years ago for something in your shop. We then had a customer request that our PCB boards be completely sealed and waterproofed in our enclosures. Our engineer was given the project and he was already familiar with your company and the quality it produced. Thankfully the project has been extremely successful.
We initially choose ITP because of your quick turn ability excellent customer service. Since our early days, our business with ITP has grown significantly and you have done a wonderful job in adapting to our growing business.
Many of our designs are exposed to environmental extremes. In our search for encapsulation material that would hold up to these demands, we found that off the shelf encapsulation material fell short; fortunately we found Overmold Express and they were able to design an encapsulation material that met and surpassed our requirements. Since then we have relied on OE as our source for encapsulation of our product and they provide excellent technical support, customer service and responsiveness to meet our production requirements for both existing products and new designs.
Our CTO found you on the web. Your potting and overmolding experience looked like what we needed to produce the wristbands. Tooling costs were reasonable and quick to fabricate. So far, all has been good. The progression of the prototype tool was as expected, first articles, modifications as needed, texture, and now we’re getting good parts. You pushed to produce when we needed quick turn on some parts for a customer demo.
